Matthew Cushing is from Old Orchard Beach, Maine. He is  currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mental Health and Human Services, with a concentration in Grief, Trauma and Loss. What attracted him to the debate because it seemed like an incredible opportunity to step outside of his comfort zone.
